Anglian water update - Misuse of the coded gate

Regarding the ongoing Anglian Water Road closure, we have been contacted by the site office on Haverhill Road and they have advised us that the code for the barriers on Haverhill Road has been published via social media.

This reckless action has caused safety issues as vehicles are approaching large contractor machinery and work has had to stop.

Not only is this a safety issue it also creates further delays in completing the work.

Anglian Water are considering what action to take and one course of action may well be contacting the police, furthermore a change of code on the security gates and other security and safety actions.

Anglian Water are fully aware of the inconvenience the road closure and the diversions are causing but site safety and security is very important.

Hopefully this reckless action will cease
