Bin and recycling collections

Waste and recycling collection dates will change during the festive period. Please check your revised bin and recycling collection dates to make sure you put out your items on the correct day.

Those who would usually have their collection date on Monday 26 December will have their waste collected on the earlier date of Saturday 24 December.

All other collections during this time will have their waste collected one day late.

Recycling sacks

You might find you will have more packaging and recycling to dispose of after Christmas- if you need more recycling sacks, they can be ordered here, and will be delivered in January.

Christmas tree recycling

If you are looking to recycle your real Christmas tree following the festive period, we will be collecting Christmas trees from 10 drop off locations across the district on Saturday 14 January 2023. Details can be found on our website.

Please ensure you remove all decorations and do not leave the tree outside of the collection times as this will be considered fly tipping.
