Emergency Alerts - 7th September 3pm

At around 3pm on Sunday 7 September, millions of mobile phones across the UK will vibrate and play a loud siren sound for around 10 seconds, along with a text message.

This is just a test –  there is no action required.

The alert will be sent to all 4G and 5G phones and will clearly state it’s a test.

The UK Government’s Emergency Alerts system is designed to warn you if there’s a life-threatening emergency nearby, so you can take action to stay safe.
