Fire Safety Checks in the village today

Today from 2pm the Essex Fire Service will be door knocking and offering support and advice - checking smoke detectors or fitting them if you don't have working ones.
They will all have ID on and be in uniform.
They are visiting in response to a fire incident in the village and want to keep as many people safe as possible.
