Online engagement event for Braintree Diagnostic centre

An online engagement event is due to take place on Wednesday, 20 September 2023 from 6pm until 7.30 to share the plans for the Community Diagnostic Centre being built at the St Michael’s Hospital site in Braintree.
At the event you will hear from staff at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust about the project and the services that the centre will offer.
The Braintree CDC is expected to open in summer 2024 and will offer a range of tests including, CT scans, blood tests, ultrasound, MRI scans, and heart and lung tests to the local community. It will support all non-emergency diagnostics and is part of a national initiative to support increased diagnoses and access to tests and scans closer to home.
