‘The Yellow Book’
The Yellow Book is the bi-monthly Parish Magazine of Steeple Bumpstead. It is prepared by volunteers and delivered by Parish Councillors to approximately 750 residential and business premises in and around the village.

SBNN - Steeple Bumpstead Neighbourhood Network of Helping Hands
We have an active group of volunteers in the village, helping you during tough times. Set up in March 2020 when the COVID-19 Lockdown began.
Street Volunteer Co-ordinators will usually have a poster in their window and are in touch with each other to pool resources.

Street Volunteer Co-ordinators are offered as a back-up in these complicated times and are not intended to replace your usual support network, friends or family. This initiative is fully supported by Steeple Bumpstead Parish Council.
Braintree Community Transport
Braintree Community Transport offer tailored transport from your home to your destination of choice and home again. Transport is bookable at least the day before you need to travel.
Your vehicle is personal to you at times requested by yourself. Passengers make a contribution towards the cost of their journey which is subsidised by Essex County Council and Braintree District Council.
