After the festive season there are a number of ways you can recycle your real Christmas tree. We will be collecting Christmas trees and wreaths for recycling from ten drop off locations on Saturday 15 January. Or you can drop it off at one of Essex County Council's recycling centres across Essex.

Farleigh Hospice's door to door collection for real Christmas tree recycling scheme is back. Working with Justhelping, collections will be taking place across mid Essex on 7, 8, 9 January 2022. A full list of postcodes they will be collecting from can be found on the Farleigh Hospice website. You can register and donate today. Registration closes Tuesday 4 January. Your tree will be shredded into chippings and used for biofuel with some used for park pathways and soft play areas.
